Tim comes back from two years in the PeaceCorps to find that his best friend Chaz, and his mother Angela are getting married. Neither his friends nor his father Bart, warned him and he steps into the situation on their wedding day.

Tim tries settling back into his old life only to find that his mother and Chaz have tainted everything he used to love. They hang with his friends, express their love explicitly around the house, and worst of all try to include him in everything they do. Tim reaches his breaking point and goes to his father for advice.

As a result of Tim's outrageous behavior his family decides to stage an intervention. In order to make his family understand how he feels Tim plans a little intervention of his own in the form of retribution; "Eye for an Eye, bro!"

It's take your son to work day! When Tim's day dreams cause a horrible accident at Chaz's work, Tim decides to be a man and move out of his house.

Angela convinces Tim to watch a DVD that Chaz has made as a late wedding present for Angela that chronicles their relationship. As Tim watches the video he realizes that he may be responsible for their love affair.
