Feng shui expert YING LING SHAN goes to buy a shirt and a tie for her father, where she meets a bloke named MAN KA WO. WO gives her some tips on how to choose men’s clothes but SHAN, thinking that he is only trying to chat her up, does not seem to be grateful for his advice. New pop idol FIFI has stolen things from the department store and her manager JIMMY offers to pay for her immediately. WO has noticed every detail about the theft and believes that there must be something wrong with the singer. SHAN and WO, who are in their respective cars, have had a near-miss. There is a shrill, penetrating sound when the vehicles brake hard, which gives FIFI a fright and makes her scream. WO gives FIFI his business card, which, in SHAN’s eyes, is nothing more than a disgraceful attempt to chat up the girl. SHAN visits his father TIN MING, who has been locked in prison……

WO, accompanied by his colleague STELLA, goes to buy a pearl bracelet for MAY. Detective Constable LUNG KAM WAI points his gun at a suspect, which frightens STELLA, who is heavily pregnant, half to death. WAI’s supervisor scolds him for pulling his gun out for no reason and advises him to go and see a psychologist. WO gives WAI a treatment, during which WAI reveals that his partner BILL got killed five years ago due to his negligence and that he has suffered a deep sense of guilt ever since then. WO believes WAI has only told part of the truth and KOO YIN, WO’s boss and mentor, agrees with him. WO passes the pearl bracelet to MAY, and as they are about to kiss, WO suddenly holds back. This has perplexed MAY greatly. SHAN is happy to meet her old schoolmate YIU again. Knowing that YIU has a strong dislike towards feng shui masters, SHAN tells a lie and claims to be a broker……

WO and SHAN have agreed not to say a word about the kiss. Once back at home, SHAN starts brushing her teeth. FEI mentions the lady-killer again but SHAN insists that she is the master of her own fate. WO is a little downcast. YIN points out that he has been trying to avoid facing the problem and suggests he find a girl and let the power of love help him get through his psychological barrier. WO feels extremely depressed when he knows that MAY has left for Thailand. WAI’s heart beats so fast when he meets a girl – he seems to have a crush on her. WO teases him about it and encourages him to woo the girl. A young lady FONG NGA YIN comes to WO’s clinic, also known as the Wisdom Integrated Therapies Centre, for an interview for the post of Secretary. She reveals to WO that her friend OLIVER has been suffering from Phobia and in turn asks for his help. SHAN is totally at a loss after getting a call from YIU requesting an investment proposal……

MAY introduces WO to her boyfriend, who, to everyone’s surprise, is WAI. WAI thanks WO for his encouragement while MAY is so grateful to SHAN for the accurate prediction, leaving WO and SHAN, who are looking at each other with mixed emotions, in a state of shock and disbelief. WO keeps doing housework without a break. Having noticed this, WO’s family can tell immediately that he has become disappointed in love again. They show sympathy for him and give him a few words of consolation. A client named CANDY approaches WO for help. She reveals that her husband has had an affair with her sister MAGGIE. WO finds NGA YIN quarrelling with a man. Immediately he gets to them and manages to save NGA YIN from trouble. NGA YIN discloses that she has been in love with a married man called WEI and WO advises her to withdraw from the relationship as soon as possible……

WO teaches SHAN to play tennis, during which he gets hit by the racket. He grumbles about the little accident and rants about his bad luck. WO gets calls from MAY and WAI respectively. MAY says that she does not want to get married too young while WAI tells him that MAY has disappeared without a trace. WO lets MAY and WAI have a heart-to-heart talk by using a special mirror. SHAN goes to play snooker with YIU but ends up making a fool of herself. SHAN thinks it is all WO’s fault and puts the blame entirely on him. WO asks her if she knows what kind of woman would appeal to YIU and how much chance she has of winning his heart. When asked these questions, SHAN is rendered speechless. MING is set free from prison, so SHAN and FEI go to pick him up. Knowing that MING is deeply in debt, YIU offers to lend him HK$200,000 and SHAN is therefore very grateful to him. SHAN discovers that MING has a phobia of fire……
