Meeshell Reeves, singer with pop-duo Cats Eyes, wants nothing more than to be famous. When TV talent show Fame Search offers her an audition, her fantasy life comes tantalisingly into reach. Reluctantly aided by her best friend Devine and her long-suffering boyfriend Tyler, the audition date looms and Meeshell prepares to leave her old life behind.
