Shaun takes comedian Lizzy Hoo on an origin odyssey, to figure out who is Lizzy Hoo, by ignoring the Malaysian Chinese side of her family, instead exploring her Irish roots inherited from the person who isn’t a Hoo, her mother.

Comedian Dilruk Jayasinha travels home to Sri Lanka to explore how his upbringing amongst three different religions and his place in his family have shaped his life in Australia today.

On this shapely leg of the journey Shaun and comedian Nina Oyama head to Nina’s father’s homeland, Japan to learn more about her heritage.
