Hendrix begins to explore the overwhelming noises and streets of her new neighbourhood. After being racially profiled in a convenient store she meets up with group of teens her age.

Unlike Hendrix, Bowie has been true to her word to Dylan, to stay at home; until she gets a call from Hendrix saying she's in trouble. An unlikely crossing of paths leads to unexpected connection with a girl named Zoe.

At work Dylan deals with co-workers talking about indigenous people in front of her, not realizing she is mixed. Stressed about her sisters not answering their phones Dylan tries to focus on the job.
