Alliances and strategy take center stage as the comedians in the room plot to oust the ‘people people’ amongst them. Whilst toilet humour, twerking, the National Anthem and a pregnant cast member all battle for the spotlight - a warning shot is fired as the first yellow card is shown.

Boerewors is an omnipresent element in the kitchen, on plates and in gags.

Red lights and red cards become more frequent as big performances take us deeper into the game. Powerful onslaughts come from a Kung fu master, while a questionable director presents their skewed vision. But it’s a surprise visit from a DIY specialist that pushes the repressed giggles to the brink…Meanwhile our host ups the ante with a mischievous phone call that sends his victim into a pickle.

While Trevor Noah’s puppet master antics tip the house into chaos, we are treated to an actual puppet show by a surprise guest. Levels of reality begin blurring as the fifth hour puts its foot down while sending more than one contestant headfirst down the rabbit hole.
