Davina Jackson and her husband Al seem to have won the prize living their lavish lifestyle. But not everyone is happy, and soon they find themselves asking ...is this the life they really want?

Davina looks back on her childhood, and returns to her old haunts where the ghostly appearance of her imaginary friend reminds her of a childhood when nothing could hold her back. She is left to wonder where she lost her way.

Al is trying to write an article on what makes a classic. But when a world-famous author flies in from America and sets his eyes on Davina, he tells Al that she is an absolute classic and begins to seduce her.

Roger fires his piano teacher for making eyes at his wife Veronica. Davina is shocked and she thinks he has only done it to show his more general contempt for artists. So she employs Greg, the piano teacher, to give lessons to Al.
