An ancient Monolith brings a child from a world beyond to the land of Esluna, a child who is meant to be taken under the Queen's guidance.

Maeve must save her dying mechanical friend, Mochi, by charging her power source with ancient technology scattered throughout the world - but Bataar, the Child of the Monolith, interferes as he has other plans to find his way back home.

Maeve, Yoki, and Bataar, must find a way to work together to get what they all want.
