Gee, a fourth-year university student and orphan, works at a café while studying. One night, Solo—suffering from insomnia—visits the café just before closing. Gee offers him warm milk, and Solo finds comfort in both the drink and Gee’s smile. Meanwhile, Kao spots Pu (Pree) being harassed on a rainy night and follows him. Later, Solo—now a contestant in the university’s Star & Moon contest—sits outside the closed café, waiting…

Kim, a fujoshi and coworker at the café, fantasizes daily about her favorite customer couples (CPs). When one of them is secretly photographed, they confront Kim, suspecting her. At university, Solo isn’t interested in the festival, but asks Gee to come support him. Kao, meanwhile, tries to get Pu to attend the after-party. Solo plays guitar, and Kao sings… but who are they really singing to?

With the festival over, an after-party is held. Solo doesn’t want to go, but Gee convinces him. At the venue, Solo is found drunk, and Gee gently cares for him, taking him home. Later, Kao’s dinner plans with Solo fall through, and he runs into Pu at the supermarket. Despite being crowned "Moon" of the university, Solo is left alone after a photoshoot, treated differently.

Gee saves Solo from being drugged just in time. But then Solo stops coming to the café, worrying Gee. Meanwhile, junior student Kay begs to work at the café with Gee. Kim collapses and is hospitalized; Pet, unable to bear her condition, goes to speak with Kim’s brother, Kem. Just as Solo returns to visit Gee, the two finally meet again.

After a period of absence, Solo visits the café before closing, inviting Gee to a volunteer camp without explanation. Gee is left confused. Kim’s condition worsens after a fight with Kem. Pet tries to lift Kim’s spirits, leading to an emotional moment. Meanwhile, Kay aggressively flirts with Gee at camp, bringing Solo and Kay to a boiling point. Gee turns to his friend Bie for advice.
