A temporary high school teacher’s dead body is found in the garden in front of her apartment. However, people are more worried about its effect on their apartment prices than the deceased. Miss Lee, who is responsible for almost all affairs related to this very apartment’s reconstruction, is questioned by a police officer, Ho Chul, who feels something awkward about the death.

After questioning witnesses that surround the death of a high school teacher, Yang Su Jin, Ho Chul still feels that there is a missing piece of the story. As he digs into the case, he realizes that there is a complicated tie among those who knew Su Jin. Meanwhile, weird cases break out around the neighborhood, which all seem to be connected one way or another.

With the autopsy showing death from suffocation, Yang Su Jin's case turns into a murder case. Two suspects are on the list, Seo Tae Hwa and Im Jung Kwon. However, the police don't have any hard evidence to arrest anyone. Meanwhile, Goong Bok gets Tae Hwa out from police custody for attacking Lee Myung Won.

The police find evidence that Tae Hwa was at Su Jin's house at the time of her death and go after him. Meanwhile, Tae Hwa goes after Lee Myung Won and gets in a fight with him. Handcuffed in the back of Ho Chul's car and headed back to the precinct, Tae Hwa gets a sudden call from Goong Bok, telling him to grab on to something tight.

Miss Lee fills in Tae Hwa on why Su Jin had a relationship with Lee Myung Won. And after seeing and hearing Myung Won and Ho Chul's conversation on a home CCTV recording no one knew about, they now know that Myung Won and Ho Chul are related. Later, Miss Lee uses the home security recording to set things straight with Ho Chul.
