  • Episode 1Countryside garden26 min

This garden is as distinctive as its owners. The atmosphere of the courtyard, enclosed between old walls, inspired Ferdinand Leffler and his colleagues from the Flera studio to create a magical place that inspires and relaxes. The garden includes a studio, a gallery, seating around a fireplace, a sauna and a wooden pergola. Informal perennial beds "like grandma's" underline the genius loci of the place.

  • Episode 2Landscape garden26 min

The garden in the landscape and its natural integration into the quiet village character. A composition where on the one hand we long for complete privacy, seclusion from the neighbours, but hope to imprint on the garden the atmosphere of freedom and naturalness that the surrounding nature breathes on us. In the transformation, we are accentuating the themes of natural ponds, fountains, views of the landscape, and choosing the right plants - from the right types of pines to shrubbery to small perennials. The author of the realization is architect Petr Halama, a great connoisseur of ponds and habitats. He usually works personally on the gardens he designs.

  • Episode 3Terrace26 min

City life has its charm and many advantages, but it often lacks contact with nature and the sky. The landscape architect Ferdinand Leffler encourages everyone to rid balconies and terraces of washing lines and junk with a smile. Together with garden architect Jana Pyškova, a great plant expert and rain garden specialist, they will show how garden comfort can be created even in dense urban areas, and on just a few square metres.

  • Episode 4Small urban garden26 min

Gardens in terraced houses usually face several problems - lack of privacy, limited space and often problematic access through the apartment. Garden architects Markéta Mlejnková and Ferdinand Leffler transform a neglected space into a cosy outdoor room for a family with young children. The distinctive architecture of the house and the Anglican-style Prague neighborhood is accentuated by art objects and various design furniture.

  • Episode 5Permaculture garden26 min

A garden close to nature does not necessarily mean mess and chaos. The principles of sustainability can also be implemented in modern, design-clean gardens. The coming summer and the dry season also alarm the topic of rain gardens and rain beds. "In an age of technology overload and virtual reality, a garden is like walking the dog, a garden is an antidepressant," says presenter and garden architect Ferdinand Leffler, who this time invited the great life advocate of permaculture principles Jan Vaclavek to collaborate.
