December 2001, at km 80 of Route 7, in the Province of Buenos Aires. Next to a station that the train no longer passes through, there is a small town called Estación Cortez where Juan Martín Hernández, el Rubio, lives. In the middle of a country that is shipwrecked, the inhabitants of this town continue as every day, trying to escape despair.
